Creating effective defect cards is one of the most critical skills in Autonomous Maintenance and continuous improvement. Poorly written defect cards often describe symptoms rather than the actual abnormal condition, making it difficult for maintenance, engineering, and leadership to understand the problem or take effective corrective action. This focused, hands-on workshop teaches participants how to document abnormalities using the Reliability Crime Lab Problem Statement methodology.
